MOTION ON TENURE AND PROMOTION REVIEW COMMITTEES

Since the UHPA contract allows the use of rank 4 faculty and of faculty within the same college on TPRCs, CPM recommends procedures be changed to use these to expand the pool of faculty serving on TPRCs and no other change be considered until it is determined that the administration is able to fill the committees if these recommendations are accepted. The guidelines, if changed, would not allow members of the same department to sit on the TPRC nor would it allow rank 4 faculty to serve on a TPRC if rank 5 faculty are in the pool.
