NVivo Site License Prorgam

Information Technology Services (ITS) has established a site license program from QSR International for qualitative software called NVivo for the University of Hawaii (UH) system. All active UH faculty, staff and students are eligible to purchase this annual site license through this program. This is an ANNUAL LICENSE which follows the UH Fiscal Year, valid from July 1st to June 30th of the following year.

The ANNUAL price per license is as follows:
$220.00 per license for Windows

Please check that your computer meets the software system requirements prior to purchasing a license.
After the license is purchased, you may download the software or request a copy of the installation CD from ITS.

The price above does NOT include manuals, but the NVivo Getting Started Guide (pdf) is available for download from QSR's website. Manuals may also be purchased directly from QSR's web store.

Ordering Instructions:

Please call the Site License Office at 956-5783 to request the number of licenses needed. (If no one is able to answer your call, please leave voicemail including your name, department name, phone number and the qty of licenses needed.)
Complete, print and sign the NVivo Order Form
(PDF Fillable Version - requires Adobe Acrobat Reader)
NOTE: An NVivo Agreement Form must accompany each order sent to ITS. If this is not sent in with your payment, processing of your order will be delayed.
The following forms of payment will be accepted:
- UH Requisitions/UH Interdepartmental Orders
- RCUH Purchase Orders
- UH Foundations PO/Reqs
- Personal checks (please make this out to: University of Hawaii ITS)
Unfortunately cash, credit cards & PCards are NOT accepted.
Students must also provide a copy of their valid UH ID (front and back).
NOTE: Tax and shipping fees are NOT needed.

After ITS receives your order and processes your payment, the contact person on the order form will be sent an email confirmation. This will contain the instructions on where to download the software (for new licenses) or to contact the site license office to schedule a pick up appointment to pick up an NVivo installation CD. If you are unable to pick this up at the UH Manoa campus (different campus or Neighbor Island) we will be able to send it out via Certified Mail.
