ESRI Training Accounts at UH
The Information Technology Services' (ITS) site license contract with ESRI includes an
unlimited access to a large collection of self-paced e-Learning resources for the University of
Hawaii (UH) System. Effective August 15, 2016 any active UH faculty, staff, or student
may request for a free ESRI Training account, valid for a 2-year period. Accounts are
renewable for 2-year periods if you are an active UH member.
Courses authored by third parties, academic and industry specialists, and courses that are instructor-led or instructor-mentored are not included but may be purchased separately by either individuals or the Institution.
Software is not included in this account unless you are a participant of the UH ESRI
Site License Program. Students may request for ESRI software at
http://www.esri.com/landing-pages/education-promo. ArcGIS for Personal Use can be purchased at:
Request for a UH ESRI Training AccountIf you are a UH ESRI site license customer with an online account, you should have access to e-Learning automatically. Log in with your account and select the 'Training' section under the 'My Organizations' tab to start.
For new users:
- Send your ESRI Training Account request to firstname.lastname@example.org from your hawaii.edu email account or provide your UH Username to verify that you are an active UH member.
- After your request has been approved by the UH ITS Site License Office, you will receive an invitation from ESRI Customer Service (email@example.com) with a link to 'Get Started'.
Note: Please check your spam folder if you do not see this in your inbox.
- You will be directed to the ESRI Accounts log in page. If you have an ESRI Account, log in at this page. If you do not have an account, click on the 'Create an Account' tab at the top. Enter your first name, last name and email address. You will receive a second email from ESRI (firstname.lastname@example.org) to activte your account.
- After clicking on the 'Activate your Account' button in the email, enter the required fields and click on 'Create'. Log in using your newly created Username and Password. Click on 'Support & Services' in the menu and click on 'My Training' to view the available courses.
