UH Alert - Two robberies reported on UHM Campus

On Saturday, May 4, 2013, two separate robberies were reported on the UH Mānoa campus.

At 1:37 a.m. an unknown male robbed a security guard of his identification badge after the guard had issued a citation to the subject's vehicle that was parked at Hale Noelani. The subject first attempted to take the guard's citation computer but was unsuccessful. He then took the guard's identification badge. The subject drove away in dark green Honda CRV, license RRU 215. He is described as in his 20's, 5'6", 160 lbs., short black hair, wearing a gray t-shirt and shorts. HPD is handling the investigation.

At 3:40 a.m., two unknown males robbed a visiting male of his skateboard while at the Hale Aloha courtyard. A witness reported a verbal altercation between three men, then observed two of the men assaulting the third male in the courtyard before fleeing toward the Hale Wainani area. One male is described as in his 20's, 5'10", 200 lbs., black hair, wearing long-sleeve dress shirt and jeans. The second male is described as in his 20's, 5'8", 160 lbs., dirty blond hair, wearing a long-sleeve plaid dress shirt and jeans.
