Regents Policy RP 5.203, Distinguished Academic Chairs Effective Date: Oct. 20, 1978 Prior Dates Amended: Oct. 31, 2014 (recodified) Review Date: August 2018 I. Purpose
To set forth policy regarding the establishment of distinguished academic chairs.
II. Definitions
No policy specific or unique definitions apply.
III. Board of Regents Policy
A. The board may establish distinguished academic chairs in selected fields of study and approve the appointment of faculty to such chairs.
