Philosophy Students’ Association (PSA)

The Philosophy Students’ Association (PSA) was constituted in order to foster the social, academic, and professional growth of graduate and undergraduate students in the field of philosophy at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. It accomplishes this goal by holding student meetings during the semester, planning departmental events and activities, and by electing student representatives to act as liaisons between faculty and students. By these means, the PSA works to promote greater inter-departmental communications and to provide a greater sense of continuity for the ever-changing stream of scholars pursuing an education in philosophy at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Prospective students are encouraged to contact the PSA for more information about life in the department.

The PSA maintains a website. Visit our website to stay informed about upcoming events, to read our Graduate Student Handbook, and to learn more about us.
