ANNUAL REPORT ON SPECIAL AND REVOLVING FUND EXPENDITURES

Introduction

            Section 304-7.8, Hawai‘i Revised Statutes, authorizes the President of the University of Hawai‘i to approve expenditures in excess of appropriation for each of the special or revolving fund of the University when revenues deposited into such funds exceeds the amount appropriated for a fiscal year.  This section also requires the University to submit an annual report to the Governor and the Legislature of all such expenditures in excess of each fund’s appropriation.
