Script Guidelines for Filming and Photography at the University of Hawai‘i

  • Scripts and storyboards will be approved on a case-by-case basis and must be reviewed by PRSE.
  • Any script deletions, additions or changes made after approval, must be brought to the attention and approved by PRSE prior to filming.
  • UH reserves the right to reject any proposals with scripts deemed unsuitable—for association with an educational institution—including, but not limited to promotion of: illegal drug usage, excessive violence, nudity, racism/sexism, obscenity, overly sexually explicit behavior or in any way derogatory to the university or higher education.
