Reduced Campus Operations
In support of continuing efforts to reduce energy consumption and recover cost savings, the University of Hawaii System offices and campuses statewide will be reducing or suspending operations on non-instructional days from Monday, March 25, 2013 through Friday, March 29, 2013.
UH System offices and campuses will resume regular operations on Monday, April 1, 2013.
Athletics
UH Manoa Rainbow Warrior/Wahine and UH Hilo Vulcans athletic events will be held as scheduled.
Information Technology Services
All networks, systems and services managed by Information Technology Services (ITS) will remain available throughout the closure period, Saturday, March 23 through Sunday, March 31, 2013. All ITS offices, including the ITS Help Desk, will be closed during this period; phone and email messages left with the Help Desk will be monitored, with full response and follow-up beginning on Monday April 1, 2013. If any disruptions in IT services are experienced please visit the ITS webpage for announcements concerning resolution efforts and resumption of service.
UH Foundation
The University of Hawaii Foundation will be open during the spring break, but will be closed on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, and Friday, March 29, 2013, in observance of Kuhio Day and Good Friday, respectively. Information regarding the processing of gifts is available on the UH Foundation website.
Office of Research Services
The Office of Research Services will have limited staff and modified hours during the supplemental time off period. See the modified hours and schedule posted on the ORS website under Latest News and Announcements.
