The Office of Student Services will move its operations back to the Student Services Building later this month. The building had been closed since July 2000 for renovations, which have now been completed. The relocation is scheduled to take place over a five-day period beginning on Monday, May 21st. The scheduled date of relocation for each office is as follows:

Tuesday, May 22nd Student Support Services Program

Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

Wednesday, May 23rd International Student Office

Thursday, May 24th Records

The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) will not be returning to the Student Services Building. CCECS will instead move to a new location in Campus Center 313 on May 24th.

The Career and Advising Centers will temporarily remain in Campus Center 301. In late summer or early fall, the 2nd floor of the Campus Center will open with a new information desk, game room, lounge, cyber-café, and Career and Advising Center.

Phones lines to the affected office will be temporarily disconnected on the assigned date of movement in order to transfer the line back to the respective Student Services Building location. Anyone needing to contact a specific office on its scheduled day of movement may call the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at 974-7334 or the University's main switchboard at 974-7311.

"We'd like to again thank everybody for their cooperation and understanding during the entire relocation period, said Gail Makuakane-Lundin, Relocation Coordinator. "We're very excited about returning to the Student Services Building and look forward to providing even better service to our students and the general public once this move is completed," she added.
