Paula Mochida, the University Librarian, is pleased to announce an afternoon soiree on Sunday, October 30, 2011, in UH Mānoa's Hamilton Library celebrating the release of a 164-page catalogue, Looking for Edward Gorey, produced as a companion to the exhibition Musings of Mystery and Alphabets of Agony: The Work of Edward Gorey. The exhibition was originally presented by the University of Hawai‘i Art Gallery in collaboration with the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Library on September 26 - December 10, 2010.
The afternoon soiree will be held in the Hamilton Library Sunny Alcove from 2:00-5:00 p.m.

The exhibit, catalogue and corresponding events were supported by a grant from the Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, through appropriations from the State of Hawai‘i Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts; and a grant from the Hawai‘i Council for the Humanities and by the “We the People” initiative of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
