The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Performing Arts Department, in cooperation with the UH Hilo Performing Arts Center, presents its end-of-semester UH Hilo Instrumental Ensemble Spring Concert 2011 on Saturday, May 7, 7:30 p.m., in the Performing Arts Center.

Under the direction of Trever Veilleux, the ensemble will once again take the stage for an evening of live rock-jazz-soul music, and will be performing pieces by such diverse artists as Frank Zappa, Duke Ellington, Freddie Hubbard, Prince and others. Also performing will be the UH Hilo Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Bo Wade.

Admission is free, donations are welcome, and the public is encouraged to attend. Call 974-7310 for more information.
