Hawaiʻi Community College Japanese students are asking the public to help them send a thousand prayers by making 1000 origami cranes. The students are hosting "One Crane, One Prayer, A Thousand Cranes, A Thousand Prayers" to support Japan as it recovers from last week's earthquakes and tsunami. The crane folding is taking place at the Hawaiʻi CC Manono Campus, in front of the Students’ Lounge (between the Cafeteria and the Students’ Lounge) on Tuesday, March 15 - Friday, March 18 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Hawaiʻi CC would also like people to share a message in their language, English, Hawaiian, Japanese or whatever.
