Earth Day 2010

Members of UH Mānoa Earth Day Planning Committee invite all students, faculty and staff to join them every Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Dean Hall, Room 105, to share ideas, make connections and help make a difference in preparation for Earth Day 2011 on April 20 and 21.

Previous Earth Day festivities have been successful, thanks to great planning and partnerships with various organizations on campus and within the community. The common goal is to give back to the Earth and foster a community of sustainability.

The planning committee wants to bring departments together to promote a greener UH Mānoa. Members are striving to create a campus atmosphere where everyone can be involved in Mānoa Makeover projects, design sustainable technology, eat healthy and share knowledge.

Take this opportunity to make a change in our campus and larger community, and empower the future. Join Earth Day Planning Committee members at their Wednesday meetings. Also, find the group on Facebook under UH Mānoa Earth Day, or send mail to uhmanoaearthday@gmail.com.
