'Success' conference coming to Campus Center next Wednesday

The first Passport to Sophomore Success Conference will be held on Wednesday, March 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. on the third floor of Campus Center.

All freshmen and sophomores are encouraged to attend this free event. Juniors and seniors are also welcome.

There is no conference registration, so undergraduates are encouraged to check out the various workshops, fairs and activities. They include 15 workshops such as Finding a Best-Fit Major, Research Opportunities for Undergraduates, Deciding on a Career, and How to Manage Your Stress for College Success.

A Resource Fair will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Campus Center third-floor lounge, and a Majors Fair will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. in the ballroom. There will be prize drawings, including one for an iPad.

Event sponsors include the Office of Undergraduate Education and the Office of Student Life and Development.
