Academy for Creative Media presents inaugural screening and ceremony

The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Academy for Creative Media (ACM) presents its inaugural ACM Film Screening Showcase and Awards Ceremony. ACM students will debut their productions during the free screening showcase open to the public. The films will then be judged by the UH Mānoa audience and ACM faculty, and awards will be presented one week later. Food will be served.
 
ACM Film Screening Showcase
Friday, April 30, and Saturday, May 1, 5 to 10:30 p.m.
Art Auditorium, UH Mānoa campus
 
Films entered include narratives, documentaries, experimentals (films that push the boundaries of classical narrative storytelling), and animations. Audience members may vote for their favorite films. In addition, a panel of faculty judges will vote on categories such as Best Narrative, Direction, Documentary, Experimental, Animation, Cinematography, Editing, Sound, and Collaborator.
