Office of Hawaiian Affairs funds UH Manoa scholarships for public service leadership
University of Hawaiʻi at MānoaThe Office of Hawaiian Affairs is awarding $10,500 to provide two scholarships for Native Hawaiian students enrolled in the Public Administration Program at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa.
The graduate program focuses on leadership in public service through work in government, nonprofit and community organizations. OHA is providing the assistance with the expectation that those who graduate from the program will be more effective in addressing the issues facing Native Hawaiians. Graduates of the Public Administration Program already serve in a number of organizations serving Native Hawaiians.
