UH Hilo’s ‘Imiloa Center and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute announce new partnership

The University of Hawaii at Hilo ʻImiloa Astronomy Center and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) are teaming up to support each other‘s programs and develop membership. The partnership provides OLLI and ʻImiloa members with discounts on membership and other benefits.

Members of ʻImiloa are eligible for a 20% discount on OLLI membership this fall and also receive a one-time $5 discount on OLLI and other classes offered by UH Hilo‘s College of Continuing Education & Community Service (CCECS). Members of OLLI are eligible for $10 off ʻImiloa membership options now through December 15, and once in the month of September they may visit ʻImiloa free-of-charge.

"We are excited about working so closely with another department at UH Hilo," stated Kaʻiu Kimura, associate director of ʻImiloa Astronomy Center. "We‘re teaming up to bring more opportunities to our community to access the unique scientific, cultural and artistic opportunities available through UH Hilo and engage in lifelong learning."
