Enjoy a Happy Valentine's Dinner at ʻImiloa Astronomy Center this year. The Center's new restaurant operators, Andy and Lin Cheng, will be offering in their Sky Garden Restaurant at ʻImiloa a delectable meal perfect for lovers, friends and families. In fact, they encourage a large gathering to take advantage of sharing of entrees - family style.

All diners will enjoy soup and three appetizers (seafood, tofu soup, plus vegetable spring roll, pot stickers and minced chicken with lettuce cups) and have a choice of a main entrée. One can select from eleven different entrée choices ranging from the Chef's special shrimp with pineapple or salt and pepper shrimps or calamari; Kung Pao shrimps or calamari; scallops, smoked chicken, beef with bell peppers, sweet and sour pork, or for vegetarians: fried string beans or eggplant with garlic sauce. These are specialty items that the Chengs were known for when they operated the Ting Hao Restaurant at the Naniloa Hotel and before that at the Puainako Center.

The Sky Garden Restaurant at ʻImiloa is open regularly from Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The February 14 Happy Valentine's Dinner is their first public evening opening. For the Valentine's dinner, the cost is $25 per person. For groups of five or more, portion sizes of each entrée will be large enough to share "family style."

For the Happy Valentine's Dinner, reservations are not required but are recommended. Call the Sky Garden Restaurant at ʻImiloa at 808-969-9753 or 808-935-8888 to make reservations.
