UH Termite Project presents free public information seminars in July and August

HONOLULU — The Termite Project of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa‘s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources presents a series of free public information seminars in July and August:
- Thursday, July 12 — 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Mililani High School
- Thursday, July 26 — 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Moanalua High School
- Wednesday, August 8 — 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Windward Community College

The UH Termite Project: Educate to Eradicate program addresses research, extension and instruction, and brings UH scientists together with the community in an effort to control termite damage to residences and public buildings. Termites are a serious problem throughout Hawaiʻi with costs to Hawaiʻi residents estimated to exceed $100 million annually to control and repair termite damage.
