UH Environmental Law Program to receive Certificate of Recognition from Hawaii State Legislature

HONOLULU — The William S. Richardson School of Law announces that its Environmental Law Program, nationally acclaimed by the American Bar Association, will be awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Hawaiʻi State Legislature. The presentation will be made at noon on Tuesday, March 27, at the House Chambers, State Capitol, 415 South Beretania Street.

Rep. Della Au Bellati, a 2000 graduate of the UH Law School, and Rep. Hermina Morita, will present the certificate to CJ Richardson, Law School Dean Avi Soifer, and Professor Casey Jarman to recognize the program for its educational and scholary components, as well as for training generations of environmental lawyers to serve Hawaiʻi and protect its precious environment.
