KANEʻOHE, HAWAIʻI — The latest technology and advanced communications resources keep business and commerce thriving around the world, but navigating this sea of innovation can be challenging. Windward Community College‘s Tech Talk 2007 offers one-stop shopping to those looking for innovative training, products and services for high-growth and emerging industries. The exhibition will be held Friday, February 9, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Hale Akoakoa Building at Windward CC.

Tech Talk 2007 will feature more than 30 presentations and workshops on topics ranging from internet security and teaching via podcasts, to working with various computer programs and buying and selling on eBay. The event brings together career and technology resources from the seven community colleges of the University of Hawaiʻi system in addition to local and national companies and entrepreneurs.

Seminars will be presented by industry leaders including Bill Cullifer, CEO, World Organization of Webmasters; Brent Norris, Webdesigns.com, WOW Techie Minute; Jon Blumhardt, Director, Honolulu Community College Educational Media Center; and various representatives from Apple Computer, Microsoft and Cisco Systems.

Tech Talk 2007 is free and open to the public and will include door prize drawings for an Apple iPod Nano (4GB) and more.
