MEDIA ADVISORY: More than 100 saxophonists to perform Star Spangled Banner and Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī

WHAT: To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the University of Hawaiʻi Bands, more than 100 saxophonists will perform the Star Spangled Banner and Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī prior to the UH men’s basketball game against Long Beach State. The musicians are attempting to set a world record for a dedicated saxophone performance of the National Anthem and Hawai'i Ponoʻī.
