Taxonomy
The tabs below allow easy navigation of the taxonomy currently held in the wiki.
The Taxonomy Tree page is presented in Family > Genus > Species format, clicking the [+] next to a link will open up the taxon to lower levels (i.e. clicking [+] on Asteraceae will load all the genera found in that family). This is a top down view allowing easy navigation through all the taxon contained in the wiki.
The Families and Genera taxonomy pages are simply a list of taxon in both categories, each item is linked to its relative category page which will also contain a linked list to items in that category.
The taxonomy forms allow editing/creating new or existing taxa.
The taxonomy tree is a visual navigation of the taxa contained in the wiki. This allows a phylogenetic tree to be drawn that will display the Family > Genus > Species.
When a new record is created you can automatically add the Genus and Family to the taxonomy tree by clicking the red links on the top of the page. These will show up as "add Genus" where Genus is replaced by the genus. Clicking this red link will automatically add the genus and family if they do not already exist. If you wish to add a genus/family manually you may do so using the below forms.

These forms allow editing or creating new taxa in the wiki. This can be done automatically on the plant page. By changing the taxonomy in the form for the plant, then clicking the red breadcrumb links at the top that will say "add genus/family" depending on your changes. This will automatically fill in the genus/family forms and add that plant to the respective taxa.
