Veteran Student Services Workshops: How to be a GI Bill Ninja

October 18, 11:30am - 12:30pm
Mānoa Campus, Kuykendall 106 Events Room

This presentation on the basics of the GI Bill is geared to Mānoa faculty & staff, specifically those who advise student veterans.

The Post 9/11 GI Bill was passed in 2008 and is currently the most utilized VA education benefit. Many students using the post 9/11 GI Bill do not understand how the benefit works, which could lead them to be frustrated with VA certifying officials, academic advisors, their university, and the Department of Veteran Affairs. Understanding how the benefit works will save time, money, and unnecessary stress.

    By attending this presentation you will learn:
  • How the benefit works;
  • Where the paperwork goes;
  • About eligibility;
  • New changes to the benefit.
Coffee, tea, and lunch will be provided.

Space is limited, please register for this event HERE
