Basic Fiber Optic Theory and Hands-On Training

March 28, 2017 - March 30, 2017
Honolulu Campus, PCATT

This course starts with basic fiber optics theory. You will learn about the components found in fiber optics networks and where to find fiber optic reference materials. Not to be overlooked are the essentials of fiber safety. Designing, implementing, and managing a network using fiber optic cable requires knowledge about subjects that are new to people in telecommunications. Building codes, construction techniques, cable routing, and design are among the many topics covered in fiber network engineering.

Fiber Optics Association certification available if desired on the last day at $250.
