March 20, 2017 - March 24, 2017Mānoa Campus, Lyon Arboretum, 3860 Manoa Road, Honolulu, HI 96822
Join us for a week of learning, exploring and adventure in the MÄnoa rainforest! Our STREAM theme (science, technology, Relationships, engineering, Art, and math) will focus on saving and protecting HawaiÊ»i’s endangered species for our future. We will also learn about organic gardening, Hawaiian cultural protocol, build some simple bamboo shelters, hike our mountain trails, and explore our waterfall and stream. Linda Hamasaki and Carole Sakata will teach the children how to make Ikebana flower arrangements using plants from our Children’s Garden! It promises to be a week of fun-filled learning that your child will always remember! Camp will be held daily from Monday March 20th 2017 through Friday March 24th 2017, from 8:30am-2:30pm. Children ages 6-12 are welcome. Camp Cost: $200 for the week (5 days), or $50 per day.
