Wayne Higby public lecture & reception

February 9, 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Mānoa Campus, Art Building, The Art Gallery, UHM, and room 101

Wayne Higby, Intersections Visiting Artist, will be in Honolulu to give his lecture, "Light Falling on Grass," which was previously presented to a sold-out crowd at George Washington University. He will discuss and explore how his innovative works use landscape imagery as a focal point for contemplation and reflection. The lecture will be held in the Art Building, room 101.

This lecture is one of the events held in conjunction with the exhibition "Earth, Sky, Time, Light, Space: The Ceramic Art of Wayne Higby" that is on view at The Art Gallery, UHM, from January 17 – February 17, 2017.

A reception for the artist will be held at The Art Gallery from 3:30–4:30, prior to his lecture.
