October 27, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Hawaii Community Development Authority, 547 Queen St. Honolulu

Kaka‘ako: Our Kuleana: A Free Urban Planning Academy for Everyone is a free workshop series open to the public to learn about the development issues in Kaka‘ako and to engage in innovative placemaking ideas for Kaka‘ako’s future.

This 6-week series of public workshops is intended to create a space for information sharing, dialogue and connection. We welcome everyone who is interested in Kaka’ako to learn about the challenges and possibilities in these changing neighborhoods in our urban core. User-friendly planning ideas and tools will be shared to help us explore our kuleana as stewards of its future.

The 6-week “course” is a series of public workshops to be held on 6 consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. from October 13 until November 17, 2015. Each workshop includes presentations by experts in the field as well as interactive discussions and activities.
