Public notice is hereby given that vehicles, after being towed and unclaimed pursuant to §304A-2602, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) and/or pursuant to §20-12-7, Hawaii Administrative Rules, will be either sold at auction or disposed of as junk at the Andrews Amphitheatre, located nearest to Campus Center, 2465 Campus Road, Honolulu, HI 96822, phone number (808) 956-8899, on or after Wednesday, January 28, 2015. A silent auction using sealed bids will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM; qualified bidders may inspect the auction vehicles
starting at 10:00 AM. Paperwork processing for winning bids will begin at 11:30AM. In order to be considered a qualified bidder, a bidder must possess a valid Driver’s License and be able to
pay for the vehicle in full by certified bank check or cash payment at the end of the silent auction before the vehicle will be released. Qualified bidders must remove purchased vehicles after
payment remittance and register the vehicle in accordance to §249-14.2 HRS.
Parking for auction is available at the Bachman Visitor Lot, Campus Center Visitor Lot, or Kuykendall Visitor lot in marked GREEN stalls at a rate of $2.00 per half hour or fraction thereof. For more details, contact UHM Parking Office at (808) 956-8899 or parking@hawaii.edu
