The curriculum will prepare the student to achieve a level of knowledge, skills and abilities essential to provide basic care to ill and disabled persons. Upon successful completion of the course and clinical hours students will be awarded a Certificate of Professional Development which will allow them eligibility to take the State of Hawaii Nurse Assistant Competency Evaluation examination with Prometric to become a Certified Nurse Aid. (CNA).
