Inspiring Innovation Speaker Event with James Koshiba

The Inspiring Innovation Speaker Series, organized by the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship (PACE) and First Insurance Co. of Hawaii, presents a free and public talk by James Koshiba, Founder, Kanu Hawaii.

James Koshiba is a community organizer, social entrepreneur, and consultant. He co-founded and was CEO of Kanu Hawaii, a nonprofit that works to encourage sustainable behavior change and collective action. Kanu built a membership of 18,000 individuals spread across every Hawaiian island, 300 U.S. mainland communities and 12 countries in under 5 years.

Discussion Topic: The power of commitment, vulnerability, and story in building successful enterprises that engage a mass audience - nonprofit, for-profit, and in between.
