Japanese Cinematic Activities in Manchuria

Dr. Hanae Kramer, Assistant Professor in the School of Communications, will speak about the underappreciated and misunderstood legacy of the South Manchuria Railway Company's involvement in the production of Japanese films in the decades before WWII.
