Hoʻokele Naʻauao: A Hawaiian Librarianship Symposium 2014

Please join Nā Hawaiʻi ʻImi Loa, Laka me Lono Resource Center and the Library and Information Science Program at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa for Hoʻokele Naʻauao: A Hawaiian Librarianship Symposium 2014, taking place on Thursday, October 23 from 8am to 5pm. The symposium will focus on Hawaiian stewardship practices in information centers.

The symposium will feature a special presentation of Princess Ruth Keʻelikōlani's kapa, on behalf of the Preservation Department of Hamilton Library. The symposium will also host three discussion panels: 1) Hawaiian Methodologies, 2) Preserving Our Culture, 3) Digital Preservation. Attendence to the symposium is free and open to the public.
