Improve Wikipedia articles about geography and places by drawing from your own story or diving into our library resources. Wikipedia is one of the largest freely available reference websites. Everyone can use the content and anyone can contribute content—including you!

Learn about Wikipedia
• Make a Wikipedia account
• Learn the basics of Wikipedia editing
• Understand the benefits and limitations of this open resource

Contribute to Wikipedia
• Identify mistakes and misconceptions
• Provide detail and context
• Expand underdeveloped articles
• Add citations to reliable sources

A short presentation on Wikipedia basics will be given every hour starting at 9:45 AM.
Laptops are available for use in or bring your own.
Snacks and drinks are provided.
