"On Differences between the Eastern & Western Arts in a Cultural Perspective" 浅谈东西方文化艺术的差异 (lecture in Mandarin Chinese with English interpretation)

Abstract: (1) Speaker will introduce his own works, and from the perspective of the use of Eastern and Western painting techniques in those works, will briefly discuss the differences between Chinese painting and Western oil painting, and the possibilities for combining them harmoniously. (2) From the different materials of Chinese painting and Western oil painting, he will discuss the unique special characteristics of Western and Eastern culture, the course of their development, and prospects for the future.

演讲大纲: 一:介绍自己作品,从自己作品中的东西方绘画实践,浅谈中国画与油画的差异与可能的融合。二:从中国画材料与油画材料的不同看东西方文化的各自特征,发展路径及未来展望。
