Designing for Social Media with David Hogue

This one-day seminar covers how to create opportunities for social interactions by turning content and messaging into interactive dialogue on the web and mobile devices. Focus on leveraging both social networks and on-site social features, identifying opportunities for social engagement by understanding what people share and why, and how to craft high-quality content and designs that encourage and support ongoing social interaction. Designers, developers, content creators, and product managers are welcome to attend.

David Hogue is a UX design manager at Google, digital strategist, teacher, author and designer. He has been studying user behavior and designing interfaces since 1997, and combines his skills as a designer and psychologist to bring deeper insight into users' behaviors and motivations when interacting with digital devices and interfaces. He is also as Adobe Community Professional (ACP) and User Group Manager.
