Hawai‘i Clean Energy Day VI: Getting Our Act Together

July 22, 9:00am - 4:45pm
Laniakea YWCA, 1040 Richards Street

Join us for the 6th Annual Hawai‘i Clean Energy Day on July 22, 2014!

This year’s program is an exciting one, beginning at 9:00am and ending at 4:45pm. A Pau Hana Power Party will follow the event - a great opportunity for networking.

This year's program will feature:

1) Update reports from the state, counties, utilities, business, education, and renewable energy organizations on what they have accomplished in advancing clean energy during the past year and their future plans.

2) The morning keynote, Jim Lazar (Senior Advisor for the Regulatory Assistance Project), will speak on opportunities for clean energy development in Hawai‘i. Afternoon keynote speakers include Jay Ignacio (President of Hawai‘i Electric Light Company) on utilities of the future and Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa on the county's perspective on clean energy.

3) Expert panel discussions with speakers from government, private industry, and nonprofits will examine our renewable energy future, clean transportation, getting the utilities' act together, and implementing clean energy.

Starting from 8:00am, companies and organizations will share their information on developments in clean energy at the courtyard tables.
