Will Weinstein Ethics Lecture Series: Medical Ethics

How does the medical community strive to behave ethically while under pressure to maintain profitability? Is healthcare a right or a privilege? How does our health care system compare ethically to those in other countries?

Leaders from different arenas of the medical profession will discuss balancing “First, do no harm,” with conducting the business of medicine.

Speakers: Rick Fried, JD, founding member, Cronin, Fried, Sekiya, Kekina & Fairbanks; Dr. Jerris Hedges, dean, UH Manoa John A. Burns School of Medicine; Dr. Scott Sims, doctor of veterinary medicine.

$6 parking after 4 p.m. on the UH Manoa campus.
