Intelligent Tutoring Systems Conference 2014: Creating Fertile Soil for Learning

The Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS) 2014 conference is the 12th of a regular bi-annual series of top-flight international conferences on the use of advanced computer technologies and interdisciplinary research for enabling, supporting or enhancing human learning. This year’s conference theme is “Creating Fertile Soil for Learning Interactions” with an emphasis on developing technologies to support learning and making fundamental discoveries regarding teaching and learning. It will bring together researchers from computer science, learning sciences, cognitive and educational psychology, sociology, cognitive science, artificial intelligence, machine learning and linguistics.

The conference will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii at Ala Moana Hotel from June 5 until June 9, 2014 and will be hosted by the University of Hawaii (UH) at Manoa, Department of Information and Computer Sciences (http://www.ics.hawaii.edu/). The conference will be preceded by two days of workshops on June 5-6 at UH with the main conference sessions on June 7-9 at the Ala Moana Hotel.
