A reading by the storytellers featured in FILIPINAS! Voices from Daughters and Descendants of Hawaii's Plantation Era on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 1:30-3:30pm at the University of Hawaii at Manoa's Hamilton Library in Room 301.

The storytellers include: Amalia Bueno, Darlene Rodrigues, Deanna Espinas, Anna Ramos, Lise Miller, Rose-Marie deAquino Phillips, Sharon Matutino, Charlene Cuaresma, and Nicolita Marie Garces.

Dr. Patricia Brown Moderator Dr. Brown is currently completing her book of the same title and is the author of KULA SAN Maui’s Healing Place. Patricia is the President of the Filipino American Historical Society of Hawaii, a National Trustee for the Filipino American National Historical Society and a member on the Board of Directors for Hawai’i Plantation Village, Waipahu, Hawaii.
