Understanding the Process of Web Design with Chris Ota

March 28, 3:53am - 3:53am
Mānoa Campus, Krauss Hall 12

Are you looking to build a website or do you need to understand what to look for when hiring a designer or agency? From the discovery process through the creation to the proper maintenance of a website, learn the steps involved and how to supervise the project and manage the costs. Learn the vocabulary designers use so that when you are reading a proposal or communicating with others, you know exactly what the technical terms mean.

This course is for art directors, business owners, or other people who want to get started on a site.

Chris Ota is a senior user interface designer for Ikayzo and has designed and implemented high impact websites and web applications for customers ranging from Disney to HVCB. Chris is also a part-time lecturer in Kapiolani Community College’s New Media Arts Program, and AIGA Honolulu‘s communications co-chair.
