Attend the Pathway to Graduate School Seminar, hosted by the Honors Student Organization and co-sponsored by Kaplan Test Prep and UHAA, to learn about the next step of your academic career.
The seminar starts breakout sessions for each academic track (law, medical, business or graduate school). Next is a workshop on how to write a personal statement to accompany your admissions application. We will end with light refreshments and networking opportunities. All events are free and open to the public.

Attend an Insider to increase your knowledge about the competitive admissions process
Hear tips on establishing a realistic application timeline
Reduce your anxiety about preparing for the entrance exam (LSAT, GMAT, MCAT, GRE)
Panelists will include the graduate school's admissions officer, current students and recent graduates
10:30 a.m. – Personal Statement Workshop
Learn how to write a winning personal statement that will get the attention of admissions officers. Review a sample personal statement.
11:30 a.m. – Light Refreshments and Networking Opportunities
Visitor parking: $6 flat rate fee in visitor parking lots.
Registration is preferred but not required.
