Japanese Flower Arranging - Ikebana Sogetsu
June 22, 9:30am - 11:30amWindward Campus, Hale Kuhina 115
The art of Japanese flower arranging functions as a path for the creative spirit. A gift of Ikebana is to look at flowers from a perspective that provides tranquility and peace of mind from within. Use your aesthetic awareness to assemble materials, choosing their most beautiful aspects, assemble them in a different order, and endow them with a value transcending that which they had in nature. Students are required to purchase or provide their own supplies. Optional text for purchase.
