Mānoa Campus, Hālau o Haumea, KamakakÅ«okalani Center for Hawaiian Studies

Over the last three decades, notable gains have been made in developing Native Hawaiian language and culture-based education. Despite the increase in programs and schools with a Hawaiian focus, major social inequalities still persist for Kanaka Maoli in our own homeland.

This panel takes on this problem by asking how to further advance the gains made in creating kīpuka of Hawaiian culture- and language-based education.

Panelists Include: Keoni Bunag, Kalehua Krug and Noelani Goodyear-Kaopua

The Seeds We Planted by Noelani Goodyear-Kaopua, will be available for purchase, made possible by the University of Hawai'i.
