Geek Day at Leeward

A day of hands-on workshops open to the community! Free workshops on technology and today’s digital lifestyle are offered at the fourth annual GEEK DAY @ LEEWARD on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Leeward Community College, from 9:30 am-3:00 pm.
The College offers free hands-on workshops and demonstrations on a variety of digital, mobile and technology topics. The sessions are designed for the general public, with several sessions geared specifically to educators, small businesses and non-profits.
All activities are free and open to the public. Workshops include both Mac and Windows platforms.
Doors open at 9:00 a.m. for registration, with the first session beginning at 9:30 am.

Geek Day @ Leeward is coordinated by Leeward’s Digital Media and Computer Science faculty, with support from Hawai‘i’s Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism.
