Two-Year Anniversary in Memory of the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami

We are from the Japan Club at Hawaii Community College. We would like to invite you to the “Two-Year Anniversary in Memory of the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami.”

This is an event in support of children in Japan who need physical and emotional assistance after the massive disaster in 2011. This family-friendly fundraising event will include a performance by the Hui Okinawa Kobudo Taiko Drum Group, a food booth, and silent auction with items donated by local businesses and artists.

100% of the proceeds will go to Japanese organizations such as the Miyagi Prefecture Health and Welfare Department Childcare Support Division, "Iwate Learning Hope"-Financial aid of the March 11 Earthquake and Tsunami Orphans, and Japan-American Society of Hawaii.

Please come and join us to provide hope and security for the children of Japan!
