Based on the film by Federico Fellini Stage adaptation by Tullio Pinelli and Bernardino Zapponi, translated by Josephine Calvo and Benjamin Sota
Directed by Benjamin Sota, MFA Directing Candidate
La Strada (The Road), set in 1940 Italy and translated from Federico Fellini’s film masterpiece, will be an English language debut. The performance encapsulates feelings of a vagabond life on the road. Using mask, physical theatre, pantomime, street theatre, circus skills, and inspired by this amazing film, the production explores the range of human emotion.
