3rd Cross-Cultural Health Care Conference

February 8, 2013 - February 9, 2013
Ala Moana Hotel

This biennial, two-day conference, is designed to train current and future healthcare professionals to work effectively with diverse patient populations and to ensure that what they learn will be translated into practice.

The conference will provide a forum to discuss cross-cultural healthcare training and treatment interventions, and how culture can potentially influence treatment. The content of presentations and workshops will demonstrate which specific interventions positively impact educational, community, and private practice settings. In addition, case-based discussions and instruction on tools to assess cultural competency in individual treatment, training programs, and healthcare organizations will be presented.

Call for abstracts deadline June 30, 2012.
