Chinese Culture Day 2013

Come experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of Chinese culture at the Chinese Culture Day celebration!

Activities include: Watch a Chinese New Year video, try Chinese dancing and Chinese flute, try the martial art of Qigong, practice Chinese calligraphy, view a Chinese painting & calligraphy demonstration, read and take a Chinese story, find your Chinese zodiac birth animal, play “Are you smarter than a Chinese 5th grader?” trivia game, learn about the rebus principle in Chinese characters, play Chinese bingo, tie Chinese craft knots, try Chinese paper craft, play a character matching game, play a Chinese measure words game, sample Chinese snacks and tea, try Chinese yo-yo, listen to the Chinese spike fiddle (èrhú), watch a Lion Dance and Chinese Martial Arts demonstration, watch a narcissus carving demonstration!
